| Remarks | "a nurseryman in Tarascon (France) and collected with G. Bentham (1825 Pyrenees), E. Requien in Avignon, and with different botanists in Montpellier of his times (especially F. Dunal & A. R. Delile). He also made herbarium specimens from cultivated plants in his nursey which appears as "Hortus Tonnelle" on his labels. MPU has > 1000 (uncounted) duplicates of his collections (native & cultivated plants) in MPU general herbarium. There are duplicates in Requien's herbarium at AV" (MPU file).
