RemarksSalix x simulans Fern. Putative hybrid salix brachycarpa Nutt. x Salix pedicllaris Pursh. The villous ovaries and stipes 0.88 - 1 mm long suggest this parentage. There are two shets. One has "TYPE" stamped on it and is the holotype. The other is an isotype. Both are identical. Det. George W. Argus, 30 June 2002.
