Remarks[based on the account of the discovery of Allium yosemitense Eastwood, written by Charles W. Michael (assistant postmaster in Yosemite, and husband of the collector, "A new species of Allium discovered in Yosemite; Yosemite Nature Notes 14:97-98.), the collections of this type and other isotypes were made in ...early June 1922, Mrs. Michael and I were out for one of our weekly rambles...[vidi] Dates prior to June 1922 are thus suspect, and thus the date for GH29815 needs verification. Moreover, CAS222073 is also given with a date of May 1922, hence this date is also suspect. Moreover, the surname of the collector, Enid Michael, is incorrectly pluralized on the holotype, as it often is elsewhere in literature. As per CCH, deanwmtaylor@gmail.com, 24 May 2014]
