RemarksFruit and leaves from type collection.Note: the protologue indicates 'Tibet orientale: inter Litang et Batang, 1 Jun. 1893.' Although Litang and Batang were in Tibet in 1893, they are now in western Sichuan. The handwriting on the packet says 'Tibet, inter Tatsienlu et Batang.' Tatsienlu [now Kangding] is an obvious error. It is far to the east of Litang. -- David E. Boufford, 20 January 2024
