Remarks

Note on Ormosia macrodisca by Mr. Sealy, Herb. Kew, Feb. 10, 1942. "The slightly thickened black basal part of the seed coat, Maingay 600: there are two seeds or rather shells of seeds, for the whole of the contents of each has been eaten by a grub, evidently before collection; the seed coat and 'aril' appear in sections as one continuous coat. As these are very like Ormosia gracilis so far as the 'arillate' part is concerned. I have no doubt the structure is the same."
