RemarksHolotype destroyed at PNH. In the general introduction (p.311) to the paper in which Dendrochilum exile was originally described, Ames stated that: " The types of the new species herein describes are in the herbarium of the Bureau of Science at Manila. Usually cotypes are to be found in my own herrbarium".
