| Remarks | petiolules to 3 cm, the insertion to the rachis swollen; venation penninerved, laterals about 6-9 unevenly spaced pairs, reticulum fine and irregular; infructescence terminal, paniculiform, somewhat arching, about 115 cm length, pedunculate, all axes smooth and glabrous, usually swollen at the junctions, branching pattern verticellate, ending in umbellules, pedicels distinctly articulate at the drupe; developing fruit globose, epicarp purple, summit with a calycine rim irregularly truncate sometimes denticulate; styles free, diverging or recurved, 3-5, the number of cells in the fruit equalling the number of styles; flowers not seen on collection. Infructecense bottled. With exsiccatae sequence starting Horsfieldia 9895. |
