Remarks

[T. H. Kearney states in Leafl. W. Bot. 6: 137. 1951, "labelled as from Santa Cruz, Sonora . . . but this surely an error as to locality." Sonora does not appear on the label, Gray states it in the protologue. In the introduction to Pl. Nov. Thurb. 305, Thurber states, "The party left the Gila in July. The route, which was by way of Tucson, Santa Cruz, Janos, and Corralitos"]
