Habitat | Open seepage slope (poor fen) adjacent to creek headwaters. Burned earlier this year. Slash pine, sweetbay, and swamp gum mostly at margins. Dominants include Sarracenia leucophylla, S. alata, Scleria muhlenbergii, Andropogon mohrii, Pleea tenuifolia, Lycopodiella spp., Rhexia spp., Eriocaulon decangulare, Xyris spp., Drosera spp., Dichenthelium spp., Eupatorium spp., Rhynchospora spp. Common with S. purpurea, S. psittacina. Possibly eastern range limit for this species |
