Pine-Oak-Sweet Gum forest on the drier slopes, could forest with Sycamore, Linden, tree ferns, etc. on teh windward, N-and E-facing slopes. Much of the area cut and burned for crops, the secondary growth an extremely variable mixture of elements from both forests, tending toward dense scrub |
