Determination Badhamia utricularis (Bulliard) Berkeley
Determination Remarks [current name]
Annotation Text[Farlow's handwriting] Identical with a specimen sent by Wingate to Massee under the name B. fasciculata Jungh. from Fairmount Park. - We have never seen Jungh. type of B fasciculata if it exists and cannot say whether Wingate was right in his naming. Massee marked his Fairmount Park specimen B. utricularis and he makes B. maagna Pk. a synonym for his B. varia Mass. B. magna is much more closely allied to B. hyalina but the almost black spores are free in these examples etc. etc.
Determination Badhamia magna Peck
