| Determination | Badhamia utricularis (Bulliard) Berkeley |
| Determination Remarks | [current name] |
| Annotation Text | [Farlow's handwriting] Identical with a specimen sent by Wingate to Massee under the name B. fasciculata Jungh. from Fairmount Park. - We have never seen Jungh. type of B fasciculata if it exists and cannot say whether Wingate was right in his naming. Massee marked his Fairmount Park specimen B. utricularis and he makes B. maagna Pk. a synonym for his B. varia Mass. B. magna is much more closely allied to B. hyalina but the almost black spores are free in these examples etc. etc. |
