Remarks

Use: the bark of the stem is used to make a cold water infusion against fevers. The bark is soaked for two hours. Large doses produce a state of intoxication lasting 8 hours creating a feeling of cold throughout the body. The bark of three trunks will produce an intoxication like that of yagé.
