Locality Note (A. C. Smith, 1945): Doi Ang Ka (Doi Inthanon) is the highest peak of the Thanon Thong Chai Range, situated about 35 miles west-southwest of Chiang Mai. Approximate latitude and longitude: 19°25'N, 98°30'E. (Information from Deignan, H. G., Birds of Northern Thailand, U.S. Nat. Mus. Bull. 186: 17. 1945, and map of Indo-China and Siam, both in J. F. Rock's library.) Locality falls in the "Circle" [Province?] of Payap, according to map in Craib's enumeration = Kadsura coccinea (Lem.) A. C. Sm., det. R. K. M. Saunders, 1996, as Isolectotype of Kadsura ananosma
