| Remarks | = Rhynchospora inundata (Oakes) Fernald, Rhodora 20: 138. 1918. This collection also serves as the holotype of Ceratoschoenus macrostachys var. inundatus Oakes (see #53264). For C. macrophyllus, besides his own 1839 collection, Tuckerman cited Dr. Knieskern's collection (from New Jersey). The lectotypification by Gandhi is ined. Moore (Taxon 44: 629. 1995) has proposed to reject the name C. macrophyllus (nom. utique rej. prop.) to continue the usage of the widely known name R. inundata for this taxon. |
