RemarksFlowers in a packet. Listed as "D. nigropubescens L. L. Williams" in the Catalogue of the Microfiche edition of AMES. Williams annotated the specimen as "D. pubescens L.Wms, n. sp.", but later added "nigro" before pubescens. The species, nonetheless, was published as D. pubescens.
